Fire Alarm Systems

Fire Fighter’s professional staff provides design, installation, programming and training of automatic detection and fire alarm systems to protect a wide variety of standard and special hazards systems. All system designs are reviewed by NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) certified technicians, a recognized standard of excellence. In addition, all field personnel are factory trained on the products we sell. This ensures the very best service for our customers, from project concept to acceptance testing.

Detection and Alarm Systems

Building fire alarm systems range from small, conventional systems to large computer based intelligent, networked systems. Fire Fighter can provide the analysis, design and installation of systems best suited to provide a reliable, code compliant and cost effective solution. Fire Fighter also can furnish and install mass notification alerting systems for commercial, industrial and educational facilities.

Air Sampling Smoke Detection

Air sampling smoke detection systems provide the earliest possible warning in the event of a fire by taking a continuous sample of air in the protected area. This air sample is analyzed for minute particles generated by the products of combustion and is 1000 times more sensitive than standard ionization or photoelectric spot smoke detectors. When properly designed and installed these systems can detect fire in its earliest stages, alerting personnel and avoiding costly suppression system discharges.

Fire Fighter offers the following products and services:

  • Fire alarm systems
  • Standard smoke and heat detection systems
  • Air sampling smoke detection systems
  • Flame detection systems
  • Voice evacuation systems
  • Mass notification systems

Fire Extinguishers and Brackets

Fire Extinguishers are hand held units that offer individuals the first line of fire protection and defense. They are used to put fires out when they first start and are typically seen in commercial and industrial buildings, as well as some home residencies. We provide training classes for every classification of extinguishers to ensure our clients can use the fire protection tool properly. Fire extinguishers need to be tested yearly, with a 6-year maintenance and 12-year integrity testing to certify safety.

Fire Hoses

Fire Hoses, Nozzles and Brass Connections are intended for fireman use and are installed prior to occupying the building. We will determine which hoses to install depending on building classification and occupancy type. Hoses are placed strategically near main water supplies within the building and typically connect to stand pipe systems. The installation of this fire protection service will increase occupant safety and decrease building damage.

Sprinkler Systems

Sprinkler Systems provide property and life protection in case of a fire. They use water from an external source and are branched throughout the building, per code requirements. We take all aspects of a building into consideration before installing sprinkler systems to ensure we meet the very specific code requirements. Sprinkler heads are typically laid out on 10 ft. centers to ensure they protect every inch of your commercial or industrial building. Sprinkler Systems are tested quarterly and require annual service.

Exit and Emergency Lighting

Exit and Emergency Lighting use batteries as a secondary source of power to provide assistance with lighting and direction in-case of an emergency. This safety product is particularly important in poorly lit buildings with minimal natural light, as they guide people through the correct route in exiting the building. These products need to be inspected on an annual basis to ensure safety.
